These Terms & Conditions govern your membership in The Inner Circle, a paid membership programme operated by Women in Alignment (founded by Kay McKenzie). By purchasing a membership or completing the onboarding process, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. Please read them carefully before joining.
By purchasing a The Inner Circle membership — whether monthly or annual — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Member") and Women in Alignment ("we," "us," "our").
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not purchase or use a The Inner Circle membership. These terms apply to all membership tiers, including the monthly ($197/month) and annual ($1,997/year) options.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of your membership after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Your membership provides access to the following, subject to these terms:
We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove programme elements with reasonable notice. Material reductions in core deliverables will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
The monthly membership is billed at $197 USD per month, charged automatically on the same calendar date each month from the date of your initial purchase. Your membership renews automatically until cancelled.
Annual membershipThe annual membership is billed at $1,997 USD per year, charged as a single upfront payment. Annual membership provides a saving equivalent to approximately two months of the monthly rate. Annual membership renews automatically at the end of each 12-month period unless cancelled.
Payment processingAll payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a membership, you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with your chosen billing cycle. You are responsible for ensuring your payment details remain current and valid.
Failed paymentsIf a payment fails, we will make reasonable attempts to notify you. Access to your membership may be suspended until payment is successfully processed. We are not liable for any interruption to your introductions or other membership benefits during a period of failed payment.
Price changesWe reserve the right to adjust membership pricing. Existing members will receive at least 30 days' written notice before any price increase takes effect on their account. You may cancel your membership before the price change takes effect if you do not wish to continue at the new rate.
You may cancel your monthly membership at any time from within your member account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to all membership benefits until the period you have paid for expires. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period.
Annual membershipsAnnual memberships may be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation of an annual membership, we will issue a pro-rated credit for the remaining full months of your membership term, upon written request submitted to us within 30 days of cancellation. Credits are applied to future purchases or refunded to the original payment method at our discretion.
No refunds on introductions deliveredAs the six monthly warm introductions are a service actively performed on your behalf, no refunds are issued once introductions for a given month have been delivered.
How to cancelTo cancel, log in to your member account and follow the cancellation instructions, or contact us at thewomeninalignment.com/contact-us. Cancellation requests must be made at least 48 hours before your next renewal date to prevent the next billing cycle from processing.
The six monthly warm introductions are the core deliverable of The Inner Circle membership. The following conditions apply:
Matching processIntroductions are matched based on the information you provide in your Connection Concierge intake form. The quality and relevance of your introductions is directly influenced by the accuracy and specificity of your profile. You are responsible for completing your intake form in full and updating it when your referral ask, ideal client, or business focus changes.
DeliveryIntroductions are delivered monthly via warm email introduction and/or private community thread. Delivery typically occurs within the first 30 days of each membership month. Exact timing may vary based on matching availability and the complexity of your referral ask.
No guarantee of outcomeWe guarantee the delivery of six introduction attempts each month. We do not guarantee that any introduction will result in a business relationship, contract, client, revenue, or any specific commercial outcome. The quality of outcomes depends on your responsiveness, follow-through, and the nature of your business offer. Results described in marketing materials are illustrative and not typical.
Missed monthsIntroductions are delivered on a monthly cycle and do not accumulate or roll over. If you do not receive your six introductions in a given month due to an error on our part, please contact us within 14 days and we will make reasonable efforts to remedy this.
Member obligationsTo receive introductions, you must maintain an active membership in good standing, have a completed and current intake profile, and not be in breach of these terms or community standards.
The Inner Circle operates a referral rewards programme under the following conditions:
The Inner Circle is a professional, values-led community. All members are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, respect, and professionalism. By joining, you agree to the following standards:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the membership of any member who violates these standards, without refund, at our sole discretion. Serious violations may result in immediate removal from all WIA platforms and programmes.
All content provided as part of your membership — including but not limited to masterclass recordings, business templates, coaching session recordings, guest expert sessions, written materials, and the Women in Alignment brand — is the intellectual property of Women in Alignment and Kay McKenzie.
Your membership grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use this content for your own business purposes only. You may not reproduce, resell, redistribute, share login access, screen-record, or otherwise exploit any membership content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Templates provided as downloads may be adapted for your personal business use. You may not resell or redistribute templates as your own products.
The Inner Circle membership and all associated content, introductions, coaching, and community access are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Women in Alignment makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights where applicable under the laws of your jurisdiction.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Women in Alignment and Kay McKenzie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your membership, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost business opportunities, or reputational harm resulting from any introduction or community interaction.
In all cases, our total liability to you shall not exceed the total membership fees paid by you in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You acknowledge that business introductions and networking involve inherent uncertainty, and that outcomes are not guaranteed regardless of the quality of the connection made.
Your personal data — including information submitted in your Connection Concierge intake form — is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Your intake profile information is used solely to curate your monthly warm introductions and improve the matching process. It is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
By joining The Inner Circle, you consent to your name, business name, and referral ask being shared with members to whom you are introduced, as this is intrinsic to the service. You may update your profile and referral preferences at any time through your member account.
We reserve the right to modify the structure, features, pricing, schedule, or any other element of The Inner Circle at any time. Where changes are material — for example, a significant reduction in the number of monthly introductions or the removal of a core programme element — we will provide at least 30 days' written notice to active members.
Minor changes — such as scheduling adjustments for weekly meetings, changes to guest expert speakers, or platform updates — may be made without prior notice but will be communicated promptly through standard member communications.
If you do not agree with a material change, you may cancel your membership before the change takes effect. Continued participation after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Women in Alignment is registered. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
Where you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing in these terms operates to remove or restrict your rights under those laws.
